This is definitely in my top 10 listens of 2011
Steamy Vampire Sex!!!! Who knew?
There is a scene where Kat is taking a bath that took my breath away.
After listening to this first book of the series I went and downloaded the rest, I only hope they are as good and steamy as this one.
Wait for it.
Molly herself, an intelligent young woman on the run from injustice. Had the will to survive under harsh circumstances and the intelligence to seek out the truth. Looking forward to more.
Molly, again, her soft irish accent was easy and a joy to listen to while driving.
A young Irsh lass finds out what it means to come to the Home of the Free and the Brave!
The narrator did an excellent job of not only passing on the curiosity of the Young Bond as well the danger he found himself in...
A young james bond of course
a sense of danger in his voice
not quite but two sessions was good.
Lady Georgianna is desperate to escape from her ancestral home and her sister-in-law's family who have arrived for the Holidays. She gets herself hired to be a hostess/royal guest for a traditional Christmas celebration in a better climate. But no sooner does she arrive but mysterious deaths occur. This is an excellent listen right up to the end.
Katherine Kellgren does an excellent job bringing the characters to life.
The surpise at the end. That's all i am going to say about that!
Lady Georgianna of course
not really, just listened with a smile.
Having read the previous 11 books in the series, I found listening to Tim Curry a bit less painful than reading the book. If you are looking for closure, you will be 50% disappointed. My daughter loved this story. My only plus is that this is THE END!
The children in the hiding place sitting in the big comfortable chair reading the diary that had been left by their parents. This part of the closure I found enjoyable.
Tim Curry is wonderful
I have read 3 of Tom Fowler's 5 minute mysteries before I got this one to listen to. I have to say you really have to listen to pick up on the clues. I was able to figure out the who just not the how in this one. It was a fun listening experience.
no, this is the first time I have heard Dick Hill
Don't forget the butter.
Yes, so many characters and a super suprise ending. Peter Lovesey keeps you on edge because you never know which way the plot will turn.
Prebble does an excellent job of bringing Peter Diamond to life. Now when I read Peter Diamond mysteries I hear his voice.
my basic reaction to the end was OMG!!! I didn't see that coming.
Maybe, but there are several more books in this series that i can listen to before wanting to listen to this particular one again.
It was an easy listen and one easy to stop for awhile and come back to later to finish. It had a very exciting ending although the culprit had been pretty well deduced prior to the climax. As far as I can tell Lady G. escaped with her virginity intact.
Lady Georgianna the main Character was my favorite. Ms. Kellgren did an excellent job of making her a very likeable Royal while making others seem a bit too stuck up.
no, there are few, very few audible books that I want to listen to in one sitting. I did this particular book in 3 sittings or drivings would be a better description.
I am looking forward to listening to other adventures of the fair Lady Georgianna, 34th(?) in the line to the throne and broke.
