The series as a whole is a gem of British laugh out loud humour. This season in particular is notable for ending with a cliff hanger with all letters of the alphabet used. The actors, all of whom are major stars in their own right, have a rapport and timing worthy of all the awards they and this series have garnered. MJN airline has it all...16 seats rarely all occupied ...unless you count the possibilities of Otters on board...a steward who is absolutely brilliant at playing Yellow Car, two pilots whose conversations are a hoot and an owner who does her best to keep it all under control (good luck with that). A highly addictive series. The world needs more of this.
Fact and fiction blended with an accent and atmosphere make this story a nostalgic remembrance of the ACD original cannon.
I've always enjoyed this author. This book does't disappoint. The characters are well developed, and easy to visualise through the voice of the narrator. The suspense builds well, with surprises on what could or what you think will happen. The touches of humour are always appreciated. A good book to listen to.
A fun romp through a bit of early American history where a few ancestors and someone recently deceased seem to have good reasons to be angry ghosts in this day and age, the question is....are they? I guess that depends on who's looking.and what they are seeing. A few ghosts mixed with friends, strangers, romance and mayhem make this a lighthearted book to hear. This is a part of a series and I plan to read the other books in the series. I listened to the book while traveling and enjoyed the trip thoroughly.
What fun having the current BBC Sherlock narrate a clever non-cannon story
The ACD styling
