Although I love Jeanine Frost's books and I thoughly enjoyed Book 1 of this series I just couldn't get past Leila's childish behavior and whining in this book. I did still enjoy the book but that was because I love Vlad as a character and the story held my interest.
I really enjoyed book1 but the chemistry between Cherise and William in book 2 was even better than Rose and Declan in book 1. It may have had to do with William being a wolf changeling and all the complications that come with it but the entire storyline was even more interesting in this book than the first, which was also very good.
This was my first book by these authors and introduced a completely different world consisting of the Weird, the Edge and the Broken where the characters have various magic abilities. I thought the story was very original. I loved Rose and Declan but I especially liked the characters of George and Jack (Rose's young brothers). I thoroughly enjoyed this book and look forward to book 2.
For the first half of the book I found the story a little slow and not very interesting. Overall by the time I finished I felt it was an okay read and the story was cute. The story is about a woman who is a witch but doesn't know it. She's discovered by a family of witches who cast a finding spell through the Internet. The main character is both receptive to the testing and highly resistant to the idea of being a witch and the reader is along for the ride in her journey. There were a few really great characters who were way more likable than the main character in my opinion. I will not be purchasing the next book in the series as I didn't like the book enough to justify continuing with the series when there are so many other better options.
This was my first Molly Harper book and I am hooked. Amanda Ronconi did a great job with the narration and I have never laughed so much while listening to a book. I realized after I read this that there was a prior book to the series, but I never felt like I was missing part of the story, so it wasn't necessary to listen to them in order.
Mo relocates from the south to Alaska where she falls for a warewolf. This is certainly not your typical shifter book, and Molly Harper is by far one of my favorite authors because of her fun and witty writing style. Her characters are fabulous and I couldn't stop listening once I started.
This novella fills in how Anna and Charles met and comes before the events in Book 1 of the Alpah and Omega series (although this novella is not included on the series page it really should be). Initially I read book 1 before finding this novella after the fact and reading the print version. If you have read the Mercy Thompson Series, this series is related but it is not necessary to have read Mercy Thompson, as this series stands on it's own.
I really liked the chemestry between Cameron and Jack, and the secondary characters were extremely entertaining and added quite a bit to the listening experience. Overall I enjoyed this 1st book of the series and look forward to listening to more from this author.
This series is lighthearted and a fun easy read, and this book in particular I found I wanted to continue to listen, while the previous books I had no trouble stopping and picking the story back up sometimes days later.
I was anxiously awaiting this release after reading Feral Sins. This book didn't disappoint, and although it had the same feel as Feral Sins (the female characters of each book were a lot alike in their personalities so some of the dialog, especially between Greta and the heroines of both books, could have been interchangable). Other than that, it was a completely different story and very entertaining (and funny). Jill Redfield does a great job with the narration and I would highly recommend this book. I didn't use a credit on the purchase because the price is worth buying it.
