    I'm about 12 hours in to Keith Richard's "Life", and have found the writing -- really storytelling -- and the narration to be fantastic. Even the music lesson -- guitar chords and all -- were entertaining to a non-musician. If you grew up with the Stones, this is a must-have listen. Need to get out on another road trip to finish this one soon!

    I enjoyed the narrator, and my first listen to an Alex Cross book -- although I may have read one or two awhile back. I agree with the others that bring up some concerns about the story -- characters and scenes that seem to have no point. The ending wasn't high on consistency -- how could our expert villain walk into such an easy take down by Cross.

    Given those problems, the book was fun, entertaining, easy to follow, and one I wanted to finish . . . quickly. Maybe another reviewer can provide best choices for Alex Cross books so I can try another.
