When Joe Ledger and Echo Team rescue a group of American college kids held hostage in Iran, the Iranian government then asks them to help find six nuclear bombs planted in the Mideast oil fields. These stolen WMDs will lead Joe and Echo Team into hidden vaults of forbidden knowledge, mass-murder, betrayal, and a brotherhood of genetically-engineered killers with a thirst for blood.

I loved this book, along with all the others in the Joe Ledger series. Just like the others this book had all the fast paced action and the humorous wisecracks I have come to expect. The narrator, Ray Porter, is the best, he really helped make this book even better. I didn't want it to end. Now I have to wait again for the next book in the series to come out.

Is it possible that there exists an ancient mystery that holds the secret of America's future? That this mystery lies behind everything from 9/11 to the collapse of the global economy? That ancient harbingers of judgment are now manifesting in America? That God is sending America a prophetic message of what is yet to come? Before its end as a nation, there appeared in ancient Israel nine specific warnings and omens of national destruction - these same Nine Harbingers are now manifesting in America with profound ramifications.

I usually don't listen to these types of books but this one caught my attention. After reading most of the reviews I decided no because I thought it was just going to preachify but then got it anyway out of curiosity. I'm glad I did. I found that it was very interesting and was read well. The main point I got out of this story was not about the events or dates as much as just a pure and simple reminder. This story is worth a listen.

The irresistible David Freed’s first mystery is a stay-up-late-to-finish thriller. Based in sunny Rancho Bonita - “California’s Monaco”, as the city’s moneyed minions like to call it - Cordell Logan is a literate, sardonic flight instructor and aspiring Buddhist with dwindling savings and a shadowy past. When his beautiful ex-wife, Savannah, shows up out of the blue to tell him that her husband has been murdered in Los Angeles, Logan is quietly pleased. Savannah’s late husband, after all, is Arlo Echevarria, the man she left Logan for.

This book rates among one of my favorites. It is one of those books that is hard to stop listening to. It is an interesting, witty mystery with very humorous dialog and a great main character. I really loved the narrator, Ray Porter, he is one of my very favorites and really added to this book. He totally brought this story to life. I am looking forward to the next book.

This is a very excellent and compelling account of the inside story behind President Obama. It gives interesting information about many of the people who are running America. It sheds light on how they are handling the situations they are facing. There is an account of the inside workings of what happened before the Bin Laden raid. The author does an excellent job of narrating his book. All in all this is a very captivating and fair description of a real story and what is really happening. I highly recommend it!

Despite considerable press coverage and a lengthy trial, the full story of the Fundamentalist Church of Latter Day Saints has remained largely untold. Only one man can reveal the whole, astounding truth: Sam Brower, the private investigator who devoted years of his life to breaking open the secret practices of the FLDS and bringing Warren Jeffs and his inner circle to justice.

This was one interesting and informative book. It is written by an private investigator who reveals his findings into the background of the break away Mormon cult group, the FLDS, and their perverted leader, Warren Jeffs. The book was written and read really well. This story helped me understand how this group of people got under the power of this horrible being called, Warren Jeffs, and all the previous perverted leaders of this demented cult. The sad thing is that even though Jeffs is now in jail. it is still, Business As Usual. Another really good expose story (with its extended history) to listen to is "Inside Scientology" by Janet Reitman, really good.

This trilogy is my favorite thriller series. Level 26: Dark Revelations (the best and creepiest), Dark Prophecy and Dark Revelations. All three were fast paced page turners and had excellent narrators! It is best to listen to these stories in order. Even though I had already listened to the previous books I stated at the beginning again when this latest book was released (very good the second time around) The accompanying cyber-bridge videos (very well done) at Level 26 make these thriller stories come to life even more. If you are a fan of Mr Zuiker's CSI TV series, then you probably will like this trilogy. Can hardly wait for more!

The List is a technothriller about a group of people who each have tattoos of numbers on the bottoms their feet, and don't know why. One of them, a Chicago Homicide cop named Tom Mankowski, has had one of these strange tattoos since birth. When he investigates a violent murder and discovers the victim also has a tattooed number, it sets the ball rolling for an adventure of historic proportions. To say more would give away too much.

When the end finally occurred, everything about it was cinematic. The dead came back and ate people, civilization collapsed, and no one could do a thing. But Cyrus V. Sinclair couldn’t care less; he’s a sociopath. Amidst the chaos, Cyrus sits back and contemplates the gore stained streets and screams of his fellow man with little more emotion than one of the walking corpses. With his cache of guns and MREs, he rather likes the idea of hunkering down in his Seattle apartment while the world ends outside.

If you like Zombie stories with a little dark humor you'll like this one. Less guts and gore would have been better. I thought that the narration was good. I'm sure it is meant to be the first book of a series. If so then I'll get the next one. A series I really liked were ALL the Joe Ledger books by Jonathan Mayberry read by a very talented reader, Ray Porter (four books that should be listened to in order).
