    Through the Looking Glass is a sequel of sorts to Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Alice, now slightly older, walks through a mirror into the Looking-Glass House and immediately becomes involved in a strange game of chess. Soon, she is exploring the rest of the house and meets a sequence of characters now familiar to most: Tweedledum and Tweedledee, the Red Queen, Humpty Dumpty, and the Walrus, to name a few.

    It was very enjoyable! This novel was an exercise in imagination. It might have seemed like backwards logic at times, but only to an adult! Viewing the world from a perspective most of us never imagine, until reading this book.

    I found this book to drag on a bit. Also, the author does a good job of not only convincing the reader of the main character's apathy, but inspires some towards him as well. Plot twist out of left field with virtually no foreshadowing (nice on occasion... but random here). Very hard to listen to in one sitting.
    The punishment seemed more self-induced by the main character than the penile system.

    This book caused much stir among readers for a good reason. Creative descriptions but a good plot as well. The author makes us feel for the protagonist and almost cheer for her. I would not recommend letting children read this.

    This was a novel I never had a chance to read in school, but thought this would be a great opportunity to finally hear what everyone was raving about. And rightly so! This novel was very entertaining and enticing!
