"Could not stop listening!!!"
everything to be honest. The narration was amazing.
When "Ned" founds a youtube clip that was meant for him to find.
He really really really makes this book come to life. He is now my favored Narrator by far. It was like he was living the book where normally you can feel the narrator "reading" the book but not Christian Rummel, great reading mate!
Yes i did, it took me on a rollercaoster ride with my reaction not allowing me to really picket which side of the fence i was on in regards to "Ned" as a person.
It has its sad moments for sure and funny times but when its said and done its a very eye opening experience
Highly recommend!
"Amazing, sick, sad, a must read!"
Oh yes for sure. Its a very long book and i am sure i missed some details. But this is the type of book you could listen to more then once or twice.
Were do i start! The whole thing is so unbelievable but the problem is its real. The story is real, the people are real and the sickness is real. To listen to the girls and there response to these killings is stocking. I had to look these people up and found more and more out about this story. I had heard about the Manson murders but i had no idea that there was so much more to it then just what was in the media.
Scott puts you right in the story. You feel as tho your in the court room with Manson and the girls. I will be looking up other books that Scott has read he is that good. Great job Scott.
Nothing, i think it sums up everything in the book. Saying Helter Skelter and hearing those words feels as crazy as it should.
This is a must have book. I love true crime books and true stories but this book is way more then those two things. There are so many lives in this book and so many lives lost and not just in death but in the mind and soul. From how the police would stuff things up and would not do there job probably to death threats and murders that continued even with Manson lock up, you will not want to stop listening.
""Interesting""
Yes i would as its a great insight into what happens in day to day life that turns horrible wrong.
Listening to how a father kills his own kids to get back at his ex wife. To be honest it stuck in my head for weeks and i didn't listen for a while just because of how terrible the tail was. I just could not wrap my head around it.Or the guy who did not like the fact that a girl how he liked did not have feelings the same way towards him just sets her on fire in a moving car with a friend in the car. This happened in Melbourne, Victoria were i live so it really hits home how many sick, mentally ill killers are walking the streets.
Some readers are very monotone but Elizabeth really puts the finishing touch to a great book.
Yes were the sister of a mentally ill guy kills him for a small amount of cash! What runs through some people's mind?
This book is a great listen, i listened to hours of it in one hit but found i was looking at other people with different eyes. Break the book up if your listening. Its insightful and sad at the same time. Your connected with all the victims in the story the way its been narrated.
"Funny as Hell!"
To hear the energy Joe brings to the stage is amazing.
Laugh, laugh, laugh
Listen to it today!
"Could not stop listening"
Yes for sure its really interesting.
Where he ask his son to do time because he was to old, what a total ass of a dad! Karma always comes around.
That there are a lot of "rats" in the mafia.
Highly recommended
"Amazing"
exciting, entertaining, sad
Edward MacKenzie Jr, because he is very honest with how he felt/feels about the crimes he has done.
This is the first book i have heard Matthias N Bossi narrate but i really found his voice calling me back to the book each time.
Yeah were he starts fighting for the welbeen of his daughters, having gone through the same thing i could feel his pain and angrier been helpless in that moment.
All round good book and a insight into a world that most of us would never see nor want to be in. Its honest and funny at times but its also very deep. Well worth the listen thats for sure and i highly recommend it.
"Scary, dark, true crime = must listen"
The readers voice.
Not really but i don't think this book was meant to like that. But the subject keeps you on the edge of your seat all by itself
No not yet but i will be in the future thats for sure. Michael has one of those voices that would suit many styles of books.
yes for sure. Luckily i was able to do that.
Just a great book with a very clear in look at the bikie world not only here in Australia but the world over. Even if your not into bikie books it is still a eye opener which will make you see things in a different light.
