Yes for Alethea Kontis. No for Katherine Kellgren
Have not finished story yet. I could not get over the awful narration. I will purchase this book in print
I believe that if the narrator's tone was less annoying and condescending I could have been able to listen to this audiobook in its entirety. It seems like she was trying too hard to sound British.
Story seems to be just my cup of tea.
If the narration was better. Or if this story was better written. This audiobook was BAD.
Everything. From the boring, non-developed characters, to the terrible dialogue and awful similes.
Even though she didn't have much to work with, a little more "voice acting" would have been welcome. There were many moments where I wondered which character had just spoken a line. This was quite annoying.
Didn't get far enough to make an educated decision on this topic.
Poorly written, poorly performed novel = waste of time.
