"Scarlet Nights"
The Story, light quick read/listen. Solved mystery almost immediately.
The varied characters.
When the male lead, first met the main female character.
When the two main characters finally discovered each other.
Moved, no, but surprised me. . the farm landscape.
Much of what I might say, would fall under the category of
"The Christmas Train"
I have already done so. It was a fun listen.Made me want to jump on the nearest train and head across the country.I really enjoy Baldacci books, this was a little different, more humor, less murder and mayhem.
I liked them all. The characterizations were well done.
His voice interpretations gave me mental images of the characters.
Not really
"P is for Peril"
The story is interesting, I didn't solve it immediately.
Too much description. Felt like it was written to make it easy to cast for a movie. Character description is great, but the weather report, hair style and color, clothes, room descriptions etc. were a bit over done.
Raspy,
As above, a movie or TV show seem to be the author's aim.
No real memorable moments. Classic Sue Grafton.
