This story was inspiring and encouraged my mind to wander and imagine opportunities and new possibilities.
Serendipitous. That's the word for this work. I was pleasantly surprised at the turns and twists of this book, providing a strong case based on history and current events that we are at the beginning of a new age. We have only begun to realize the potential and fruit of massive, cheap, and easy connectivity. For good and bad.
The best family-friendly audiobook we've heard yet.
Perfect listening for my 6 and 9 year olds. A bit too much for the 4 year old. Had just enough depth as well to keep adults well-interested.
Differentiated the various character's with nuance and proper passion.
It did make one member of the family cry at the end and there were many laughs throughout.
Great length for kids too - four hours or so? Perfect for road trip.
I was looking for an inspirational book about Catholics when I stumbled upon this audible.
Two quick warnings:
1. This book is not really about Father Joe. While Father's influence on the author is inspiring and wonderful, Father remains one-dimensional. I finished this book thinking
Fun little story. Good way to get your mind off things for a bit, and hey, for that reason alone it's worth it's price.
Worth the cost.
