i`ve read the Kite runner and A thousand splendid suns. BOTH awesome!
old voices, strong accent, a bit of misspelling
Yes. Nice sweet history; some drama moments and the challenges were real.
Yes, the ending was unpleasant!
The memory the heroin had from her mother to "take ten tiny breaths".... it made sense to me as we all carry good and or bad memories from mothers and they stick to us....no matter what....and one day they make sense.
Yes, I would. Interesting history and alerts you about being more careful and educating more your children not to engage with strangers.
The one Kerby (or whatever her name is written) is attacked and "saved" by the dog. Very graphic and emotional!
no. They were awesome....spectacular performance; it made the book go from 4,5* to 5* and more!!!!
The ones that described the mind of 'Harper",,,the attacker.
Could`NO put it down. My husband would make me go back so he could catch up to the history every night! Did my last half-marathon listening the the final chapters! It was great!
I always prefer listening to a book over reading it; if the narration is as good as it was in this book you enter a different dimension and immerse yourself in the book....you are part of it and it`s fantastic. The voices; the sounds can make you feel a breeze and even a smell.
My sister`s keeper _ Jodi Picoult
No, this was the first but she is great! 5 stars!
I laugh many times with Hazel sarcasm and her bitter-sweet sense of reality. I didn`t cry but it made me count my blessings even more....for sure.
I recommend this book to anybody but specially for those who struggle with cancer or those who have a friend or a family member battling this terrible disease. It`s not only a teenager book as many reviewers said. It`s a book to the OPEN HEART and OPEN MIND ones. ENJOY!!!!
