"A delightful new world"
Brave, fierce and loving.
I loved the relationship between Magpie and her Crow Brothers and I thought the dialog was excellent.
She was perfect as every character. I loved her when she was playing one of the Crows.
Yes, but it took two.
This was my favorite fantasy world since I stepped through the wardrobe into Narnia.
"History Comes to Life"
Exciting, Bold, Suspenseful
I liked the way the author created the sights, smells and personalities of New York in the 1840's. The city was a character in this book.
His reading created the characters. His voices for all characters were believable and they were a very diverse group!
Murder and mayhem in old New York.
I really liked this book. It was a great story and also an excellent recreation of a time and place. The characters were real and their motivations were believable.
"Infatuation gone bad"
Sad, betrayal, complex.
It was totally original for me.
The scene where Manabu Yukawa drops in on Ishigami for the first time.
Devotion and Despair
If I had known how sad this book would make me feel I probably wouldn't have read it. However, I'm glad that I did.
"Best Audible so far"
The Hobbit is my favorite.
The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, because I read both of them in 5th grade and have never forgotten the magic they made me feel.
Gandalf. Rob Inglis was a PERFECT Gandalf.
An excellent adventure!
I haven't read The Hobbit for over 20 years, but I remembered how much I loved the adventures Bilbo and the dwarves experienced on their quest. Listening to Rob Inglis read the story transported me back to my childhood with all of the thrills and chills I experienced then. A great performance!
"Lot's of Fun!"
I would but I would wait a while. Since its a
When his hooker client told the court that Andy was her pimp.
He has a great voice. He got Andy Carpenter's sarcasm perfectly. It might not have been as funny without him.
You can hide the truth, but not forever.
I enjoyed this enough to use a credit on the 2nd one in the series.
