The main character Daisy is very likeable.
Yes, her books are well written, they hold your interest
No, I was able to break it up with no problem
As I am a person who regrets very little, I would answer yes. I learned a lot about mistakes authors make when writing about different cultures. You shouldn't if you have no knowledge of the culture. It leaves you with only stereotypes to refer to which are normally negative and offensive, and the credibility of the work is compromised.
yes, she even does a good job with accents except the black accent. It would have been better to read that straight.
yes, I am seriously considering becoming a literary critic, or consultant to authors who wish to write about the black experience.
I have listened to all of the books in this series and this was the worse. The author did not do her homework. The hispanic and African American characters were not believable for reasons that I have previously stated. All of the books in this series are almost the same.
Yes - Sebastian York
The fact that it was read by Sebastian York
His voice is deep and sultry
It made me swoon
All romantic novels should be read by Sebastian York!
Funny, sexy, touching
When Drew explained how he know he this relationship is forever. For a tough manly guy, it was very romantic, every woman dreams of having a man feel this way about her.
This book had so many good scenes that I will discuss relationships instead. Drew's relationship with his little niece was particularly endearing. She loved her uncle Drew and he loved her will all of his heart.
I recommend this book to all romantics. This tough guy gets his come up pence in a great way!
I would change Cash Boudreau's character. He was not likeable
This is the first romance novel where I did not want to boy to get the girl. I found Cash Boudreau to be disgusting and vile. There was nothing likeable about this character and you wonder why the heroine fell for him. The story was predictable.
Dick is is one of my favorite narrator's, but this was not his best performace. I did not like the Cajun accent.
As I listened to the entire novel, I must say yes. The story was interested, albeit predictable.
Contrary to most who have review this book, I really liked the narrator. I thought she was hilarious and perfect for this character. She does have an unusual voice and I can see why some would not like it. It is high pitched but I found it realisitic. I listened to the sequel with a different narrator and did not like it nearly as much. Good listen!
