I enjoyed this book. I had to wonder, if some of the attitudes of that era are still wilth us today. I felt he was a little rough on the church and on Wesley, Knowing their history, but when you are searching the alleys for ways to survive it might be that the church was lacking. Sometimes you just had to laugh at the names and twists in the plot.
Each has it good points. My eyes get tired reading print, so I can read more by using both. I can't afford to buy the book and the audiobook.
The complexity of the story line and the character development. I thought them quite human.
Good voices, for the characters and plenty of descriptive power. She helped set the scene with her voice. I also appreciated the pause before announcing the next chapter.
Yes, I laughed a lot, teared up a bit, sometimes talked to the characters saying things like, listen! Are you crazy, etc.
I really enjoyed the complexity of the plot. The different side plots with twists and turns.
I liked the turns and twists. The character development. The story and the interaction of characters
Many times. It was a fun read and yet there was meat and moments of suspense.
I would recommend this to a friend. The story is fun, exciting, scary and takes a few twists and turns.
Lady Gwen! She is a gusty and likeable character... Neal is pretty hunky too!
The plot grew and grew. I love the whole thing and did not figure out everything before some was revealed. It is a mystery romance!
Interesting eventful, finale
The red convertible scene
He does an excellent job
I would advise not reading this one until done with the first two.
I read too many to place it. In the romance category it had a interesting plot in which some very interesting life questions are ask.
Can't give the plot away, but there are several. The bar fight was memorable
She did a great job of giving all the characters life.
Life is a journey and full of changes.
This book held my interest. I was ok with the erotic, but felt that some of them were too extended and put in just to fill in pages. I loved the twists and turns and many ways the people were real to their situations.
The main character, should be a whole lot smarter about real estate and business dealings. I liked the characters, but they seemed a bit too one dimensional.
Maybe, but with a different narrator.
I do not know who to cast, but I found the voices for the men sound like shehe's . I really do not believe that she had enough voices to do the book right. I wonder why more books do not have a male and female readers.
More depth. More plot, More use of the mountains, l
Good for putting you to sleep!
Yes, I think I missed a lot the first time. Plus I would have and atlas handy.
There were too many to count.
There are many moving parts in this book. If you have or are a hiker your feet hurt, you get thirsty, you are scared, You enjoy the triumphs as well as the challenges.
I have read many other accounts of walking the trail and this has been the very best one so far. Enjoy the hike!
I love meeting the character's again and plot twists. I love granny and her adventures. I gave this four stars because I think the book was rushed. For instance the apartment manager.
I really enjoy the whole story.
When the same performer is used, I love the fact that the voices sound like the ones I remember from previous books.
Bob and the evidence.
This series seems short. 6 hours is not very many pages. Seems like they are becoming more like novellas. And quit frankly for the number of hours the price is higher than I like to pay.
No, fun read, but not a lot of meat!
Just the light romance and the well developed characters. The story was fun listen.
A voices of the characters.
It did both.
Visuals were good. Descriptions that let you fill in with your imagination too.
The author used many different types of experiences, some were just about living in an isolated community. Not all were happily ever after stories, but all were interesting and some very funny. I also liked the descriptions of the islands and towns.
I did like her voices. I thought the accents were good, but since I have never been there I might be wrong. Occasionally, I did not care for how she ended some sentences.
This was a fun read. The story and descriptions make the islands and the residents come alive.
