I really love the story line. I actually am not done, but it really is fascinating.

The opening scene.

Yes, but alas not enough time. I have been driving around the block a lot!

All the funny stuff that moves the story along. Even the "inside" jokes from previous books that have you giggling in anticipation.

I like Janet's books. 17 and 18 should be read as one. She was losing her comic touch and in this book it just seemed that her writing was fresh again. Could be longer!

No really. A one time read for me.

Lovely charactors, that were a little larger than life. A lot of action reaction between charactors. The story line was interesting enough to keep me tuning in.

Don't want to give it a way. Many really made me laugh out loud.

In large piece. But you really want to savor the charactors.

Interesting bit of history. I ask my Mom (91) if she remembered the event. She did. Not a long listen. Once in a while the story line dragged a bit. But then in real life, time does drag a bit. Some really funny things too. Some very sad.

Paced well.

The book is a fun listen. Lots of crazy action and the descriptions are easy to visualize. Even a few outright belly laughs. Nice crazy normal charactors.

I really like the way she creates charactors by voice and inflection.

Yes, to laughter! No real fear here. The tunnel of spiders lighted was funny.

I had waited eagerly for this book. I am now about half way through. Janet take a vacation from writing and regain your delightful twists and turns. I can't believe the same person wrote the dumpster dive in a previous book. Stephanie deserves better! Bring her back to life.

I enjoyed this book. I had to wonder, if some of the attitudes of that era are still wilth us today. I felt he was a little rough on the church and on Wesley, Knowing their history, but when you are searching the alleys for ways to survive it might be that the church was lacking. Sometimes you just had to laugh at the names and twists in the plot.
