Humor and romance mix delightfully in Katie MacAlister’s New York Times best-selling novels. In this installment of the Dark Ones series, Pia is discovering that wedded bliss with a vampire is a very elusive proposition. With her hubby not trusting her, and his best friend missing, Pia finds solace in her plain old Seattle life. But that all changes when she and Kristoff are falsely implicated in crimes against vampire-kind.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would recommend this book to someone who loves historic books with fantasy

What about Bianca Amato???s performance did you like?

The reader was very good I really enjoyed her voice and intonation.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

The book was long for my taste some parts I could live without it, details that weren't a must to the story.

    Any additional comments?

This book is good but long for my taste, you have to be interestedm in early history, this is the story of the mother of Elizabeth Woodville (the author wrote a book about her too). For my taste there was too much reference to withcraft and goddess etc... But if you like it you will be very happy with this book. If possible this book should be read before the Red & White Queen from the same author.

I'm a big fan of Sherrilyn Kenyon and I like she writesdifferent style too. I enjoyed this book for a beginning of a new serie. It is very different from all the other series she writes for sure but not bad at all.
