The elements of the book I found most interesting were the discussions about the M-theory and the possibility of multiverses. Just the thought that there could be parallel universes is mind-blowing. If you only read one book about this subject, I recommend that you consider this one. The author's enthusiastic approach to the topic makes it an enjoyable read.

Although this book is full of economic facts, it's easy to understand. After listing to this offering, you will understand why the author won a Nobel Prize in economics. I highly recommend this to anyone interested in knowing more about how the inequality in our economy is hurting this country in multiple ways.

Those that listen to this book in its entirety will discover that the author does an excellent job of providing a detailed plan for fixing our financial system. Anyone that states otherwise failed to listen to the entire book or he or she allowed their political biases to cloud their assessment of this offering.

In this book, the authors take you through eight centuries of government defaults, banking panics, and inflationary spikes to today's financial crisis. They clearly illustrate why financial commentary stating that 'That This Time is Different' is a warning sign that things aren't different. In fact--they never are. Those interested in avoiding the next financial meltdown should take time to read this book.

Anybody concerned about maintaining the separation of church and state should read this book. If the members of "The Family" have their way, our secular government is in danger. This elite (well-funded) group of religious conservatives will not stop at anything in their quest to establish a Jesus obeying government. Their ultimate goal is to create a world empire run by family supporters.

Whether you agree with the author's assessment of this group or not, you will find this well written publication worth your time and money.

If you believe that global warming is real, you will thoroughly enjoy this book. Mr. Gore does an excellent job of explaining why the majority of scientists believe global warming is a manmade climatic event. In addition, he provides the reader with a detailed list of solutions to prevent further damage to our climate.

If you are one of those people convinced that global warming is a hoax, I would not waste your time or money on this publication. However, if you are still on the fence, buy, read, and learn.

This is a fantastic book. If you find the evolution of religious thought interesting, you will enjoy this publication. Anyone that takes the time to read this offering will understand why religions have been with us throughout history. Although, the author may not see religions in a positive light, he does believe they can help people to learn to live in harmony. Read, learn, and enjoy.

Mr. Harris' answers to his critics (Christians) is short concise and to the point. If you choose to live in the real world, you will love this book. On the other hand, if you choose to believe in talking serpents and virgin births this is not a book you will enjoy. The truth will be too painful for you.

Of the four books, I have read by Professor Ehrman this is definitely the best. If you have any interest in knowing the truth about the Bible you will enjoy this book. If you want to keep your head buried in the sand, you would be better off not reading this offering. Those that have an open mind will find this book worth their time and money.
