While in no danger of winning any pultizers, this whole series of audio books is a pleasure, and the performance is wonderful.
If you're a fan, stick with it and move on to the next one, they get better again. They're formulaic and silly, but enjoyable. This particular book and the narration were the weak link in the series, I challenge anyone to not cringe while hearing the narrator voice the character of Mike Fink in this book.
Interesting slightly more adult take on the genre, The characters degree of self pity and loathing was a little over the top at times. The performance was good and the story was enjoyable.
