"Engaging and entertaining"
Once again Ethan Wade's world comes to life. The characters are three dimensional and the mystery gets steeped pretty deeply in the paranormal. The castor world is even more firmly entrenched in Gatlin than we first thought. Add a strange and unusual incubus to the mix and Lena is in over her head. Top the story off with the phenomenal vocal talents of Kevin T. Collins and you will believe you are really hearing from Ethan. This story is a perfect follow-up for 'Beautiful Creatures'. I recommend it whole-heartedly.
"Brilliant Again, Of Course"
Writing the brilliantly eccentric FBI Agent Pentergast would seem to be difficult to me, but Preston & Child bring him to vibrant life once again! With his evil brother gone--or is he? An amazing twist to the complicated web of deceit and betrayal that will give the series years of more material and keep all of us readers glued to our seats!
"Immortals Seek Redemption Through Christ"
This story was great! It has the crisp, action-filled style that mark James Rollins' work. I have never read anything from Rebecca Cantrell before, but my hat's off to her too! The two writers have woven their tale well and the narrative seamlessly blends their voices so it all sounds like one writer. The story combines history, adventure, ancient artifacts, and an added bite. They've thrown good and bad vampires into the mix--only this one is written for adults without all the angst of young adult novels. Quite a bit to pack into one story! I can't wait for the next in the series.
