Law school, girlfriends, and career choices were all part of Raymond Tyler's life, but there were other, more terrifying issues for him to confront. Being black was tough enough, but Raymond was becoming more and more conscious of sexual feelings that he knew weren't "right."

captures the reader with it's twists and turns and left me wanting to read the next book. one has to really empathized with "RAY" and his discovery of "self".

It is New Year's Eve when the storm of the century hits northern California. In a quiet neighborhood in San Francisco, amid the chaos of fallen trees and damaged homes, the lives of three strangers are about to collide. For Quinn Thompson, what happens in the storm's wake will bring down a barrier he has built around himself since his wife's death.

done in Danielle Steele style. A wonderful change from the 12-18 hour books. The end was predictable but I enjoyed the story. I found myself rooting for Maggie and Quinn to get together in the end. It showed what friendship is about and should be. Good read!!!

It is True Dickinson's 43rd birthday, and her best friends have gathered on this snowy night in Cape Cod at a trendy neighborhood restaurant to celebrate. True has never felt more alone.

Although the beginning was hard to follow, overall this was a great book. It moved along with its twists and turns of everyday life. The end could have been done with more of a plot ....... it just lagged.
