Which character – as performed by the narrators – was your favorite?

Libby, of course. She was narrated just right, with just exactly the right amount of hopelessness, desperation, and then determination.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I wanted to but couldn't. I would sit in my car an extra several minutes after arriving at work, though, just listening and trying to figure out who done it.

Any additional comments?

I've never written a review before. Never felt compelled. But after finishing this book tonight, felt I had to. This book kept me hopping from one suspect to the next, and just when I thought I had it figured out...I didn't. I've never given a book 5 stars before, even in my head. This one deserved every last little bit of stars.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

I wish Teddy had had just an ounce of humanity in him. But he was a pure psycho.

What was most disappointing about Ruth Rendell’s story?

The depravity of Teddy. And the ending was unsatisfying. I usually adore Ruth Rendell's books, but this one, not so much. The whole story just made me feel very sick and sad inside.

What about Jenny Sterlin’s performance did you like?

She was actually very good.

Was A Sight for Sore Eyes worth the listening time?

I wish I hadn't read it. It was so disturbing to me.

Any additional comments?

I loved Francine. If there was anyone who could've been Teddy's polar opposite, it was she.
