I listen to spirtual books as much as possible and this is one of the great ones, I think! This is a wonderful and insightful guide, and I got alot out of it. I'm going to listen to it again, because when I really like something, I like to listen to it more than once so I don't miss anything! I think she did a great job and really broke things down with patience and piece by piece so it's understanding. Great job Rebecca and Samantha, and Thank You!

I really got into this, and it was the first time I listened to this kind of murder mystery with romance - I'm hooked! I thought the narrator was awesome and I would hope she would do all of Liliana Hart's books! Both author and speaker were fabulous. I can't wait to read and listen to more of Liliana Hart's books!!

With the same winning wit and candor that touched several generations of fans in Losing It, Finding It is an optimistic story for trying times. It's about believing in love and happiness, having faith that both are possible, and finding out that God does want you to enjoy life's desserts - even when you're on a diet.

I thought the comment about her being politcal would affect the way I thought about her book - but it really didn't. I don't agree with her on those views, but - I love how she puts herself out there and lets face it - it's hard to do. I admire how she talks about not only her struggles but her family, and her personal thoughts - I wish she would write some more! I admire how she read her book, not all authors do that either. I think she's a great person, and even if you don't agree with her politcs, she's so relatable on so many other levels. You Rock Val!! I think your awesome, inside and out! I so loved listening to this and will listen to it again when I need to be lifted up!

Would you try another book from Jillian Michaels and Mariska van Aalst and/or the narrator?

I love Jillian and I know she's really smart, but no one could possibly follow this to a tee. I mean, how about just lets us know what we can do and eat and drink in life, it would be easier to understand. I'm tying to get into shape, but I'm tired of always hearing about the laundry list of things you "can't" or shouldn't have - what's left after that?!? Jillian still rocks and I'm a big fan of hers - just, lets be real ... it becomes where just leaving the house and taking a breath might make you sick or gain weight - geez!

If you’ve listened to books by Jillian Michaels and Mariska van Aalst before, how does this one compare?

    Yes

Have you listened to any of the narrator’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

    Yes, I think she's a great speaker

Do you think Master Your Metabolism needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

Yes, a follow up to what is allowed in life.

    Any additional comments?

    Still love ya, Jillian

Liz Murray was born to loving but drug-addicted parents in the Bronx. In school she was taunted for her dirty clothing and lice-infested hair, eventually skipping so many classes that she was put into a girls' home. At age 15, Liz found herself on the streets when her family finally unraveled. She learned to scrape by, foraging for food and riding subways all night to have a warm place to sleep. Then, when Liz's mother died of AIDS, she decided to take control of her own destiny.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

It was way too long. I bought it months ago and still get bored and stop it, have not finished it yet. The author gives every single little itty bitty detail to every little thing, and it's just too much and makes it way to long. I wonder how anyone would remember every little thing like this! I saw the movie on lifetime and was inspired, but this I just can't finish, it keep draggin and I'm pretty bored with it now. It probably could have only been 1 part, but I guess that's a memoir for you.

Who was your favorite character and why?

    n/a

Would you be willing to try another one of Liz Murray’s performances?

maybe, if it was a lot shorter

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

Yes I did, it was good

For the first time, Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor speaks directly to his fans and shares his worldview about life as a sinner. And Taylor knows how to sin. As a small-town hero in the early '90s, he threw himself into a fierce-drinking, drug-abusing, hard-loving, live-for-the-moment life. Soon Taylor's music exploded, and he found himself rich, wanted, and on the road. His new and ever-more-extreme lifestyle had an unexpected effect, however; for the first time, he began to actively think about what it meant to sin.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

If you are a fan of Skipknot or Stone Sour - obviously you would love his book and sense of humor. Not only though, did Corey incorprate humor and some real stories of his life - he's so creative and just an amazing writter. I already have the hard cover of this - but ONLY because he actually spoke on this audio, did I get it - so I can hear his awesome voice read his book. I have so many awesome things to say about, I'm a BIG fan of Corey Taylor - and his book just proves how talented and cool, he really is! I hope he writes another book, I so enjoy his writing through music - and books now!
