With wings of midnight and an affinity for shadows, Jason courts darkness. But now, with the Archangel Neha's consort lying murdered in the jewel-studded palace that was his prison and her rage threatening cataclysmic devastation, Jason steps into the light, knowing he must unearth the murderer before it is too late. Earning Neha's trust comes at a price - Jason must tie himself to her bloodline through the Princess Mahiya, a woman with secrets so dangerous, she trusts no one. Least of all an enemy spymaster.

What did you love best about Archangel's Storm?

I adored the characters and their interaction, the slow building on their relationship and the thoroughly believable sexual tension.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Archangel's Storm?

The final scene, when Gabriel sings, though his flashbacks are truly horrifying.

Have you listened to any of Justine Eyre’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I've listened to a number and she's very good, particularly with accents.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

    The finale, when Gabriel sang.

    Any additional comments?

I've liked most of the Archangel books to varying degrees, but I find I like the spin-offs, this one and Archangel's Blade, the best.

Buying a run-down farm in a beautiful Vermont town is the start of a new life for Sophie Davis. She moves her mother, Grace, and her half sister, Marty, out of the city, hoping the change will help both women sort out their complicated lives. And for Sophie, turning Stonegate Farm into a quaint country inn is the fulfillment of a lifelong dream. She doesn’t even mind that the farm was the scene of a grisly multiple murder 20 years earlier….

Would you consider the audio edition of Still Lake to be better than the print version?

    No, the narration was terrible.

What did you like best about this story?

The setting, the relationship between the hero and heroine, and how real the heroine seemed.

Would you be willing to try another one of Marie Ellis’s performances?

Possibly. It would have to be a book I'm really interested in.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

    Secrets last forever.

    Any additional comments?

Not Anne Stuart's best, but still enjoyable except for the wooden narration.
