This is supposed to be a murder mystery. I have been through 6 chapters and I am still waiting for the mystery to show up.
The "hero" doesn't need to have sex with every woman in the book
You are kept in the dark as to the killer up until the last 30 minutes! Good listening book.
When Ali was attacked in her aunt's house
No, have not. Good narrator
When Ali talked about her friend at her funeral
Enjoyed the book. Felt like I was there. Great narrator.
action, good voice command
Near the end
I listen to a book a week. I happened on this book by accident. The story starts out slow but it engages you quickly. Very good Read.
Characters - Joseph
She brings enthusiasm
NO! As a book, maybe, but I couldn't get past the awful narrator. I listened to Suspect and the narrator was very involved with the book, unfortunately, this one is not.
Didn't get that far
Enjoyed the book. Now my favorite author! The narrator makes all the difference and this narrator puts his soul into it. You almost imagine yourself there
Yes. Learned about dog handlers but mostly the narrator really made you feel like you were there.
When Scott met Maggie
No I would not. I will buy the book and read it. The narrator is awful!
He is trying to put in a New York accent by the sounds of it and sound like a tough mobster and doing both poorly.
No, it is not better, I can put my own version of what the narrator should sound like. The narrators sound like they are reading the book themselves and are not adding any inflection to the characters.
Joanna Brady - tough and compassionate. The author takes into consideration how a widow should act when someone may be trying to run her household. Knows her need to be in control when necessary.
Yancy Butler and J. C. Critt are AWFUL!
Love the drama
I am wondering where Audible is getting their CDs since there is so much skipping and empty segments of this audio.
