For the generation that grew up after the cold war, this is must read. It is unbelievable the paranoia that consumed the GDR. The narration was not the greatest as german words are used numerous times without a proper English meaning. Overall though a great read.
A great patriotic true story. Better than any comparable fiction. Makes you proud to be an American!
This was not necessarily that interesting a case. This could of been done in 2-3 hours. Instead there was a lot of unnecessary filler. The case is technically ongoing as one of the original suspects may still be charged. Ann should of waited this case out or should of written about a more interesting case.
Whenever you listen to book with foreign names involved, it is hard to keep track of everybody involved. It is much easier to read the book than listen. Although parts of the book were suspenseful and exciting, the ending was done in a way that was set up for a sequel. The narrator was talented though.
An inside first person look at life in Cuba after Fidel took over. The only issue I had was that the narration was talking like he was reading to a first grade class.
One of the best first chapters of any book that I listened to or read. The narration was excellent. I should of purchased the kindle edition as there at times characters mentioned that had been brought up before and I would be easy to search them in the kindle edition.
