If there is another Jane Carver I sure would.
The dialog was great and different.
Not in one sitting but I listened to it in longer sessions than I normally did.
I do not think so. I did not like this book and I am afraid to wast another credit
If you are into Diplomatic "thrillers" then you might like this. I got the concept that humans can screw up first contact. The book just dragged. The same info over and over again.
Predictable, I could see most 'twists' coming a couple of minutes before.
Yes, overall it was not bad just predictable.
Not at this time. The book was not believable. The characters did not interact well and I thought the dialog was clumsy at times.
The book is a classic and Tim Curry adds something new. Enjoyed hearing it again.
I was not sure I would enjoy a wizard tale however Butcher is engaging. I was expecting fairies, demons and such to be waking among the normal folk but Butcher keeps the two worlds intertwinedically separate. The book is fun and entertaining. I will be downloading Book 2.
When Harry says something to the effect of "What the *&^% lady - I just want to talk". In the context of the event and the way James Marsters reads Harry it is priceless.
Harry is done brilliantly by James Marsters. The way James Marsters reads Harry is perfect. I have a vivid picture of Harry and his personality.
I agree with Lloyd “it has taken so many twists and turns that the plot goes from interesting to plausible to "what??".” Each author wanted to make their mark on the story which is understandable but each did not necessarily flow well with the others. The chapter by Lisa was incongruent at best and distracting at worst.
I got The Chopin Manuscript: A Serial Thriller because I thought the premise was interesting; I am now wiser and a book credit down.
