It was short and had no subtance and just ended and left you hanging.

Has The Mob turned you off from other books in this genre?

    No

How did the narrator detract from the book?

Not really. Wasn't nothing to detract form. The story was bad all on its own.

When Jamie and Kirsty move into their first home together, they are full of optimism. The future, in which they plan to get married and start a family, is bright. The other residents of their building seem friendly, too, including the Newtons, a married couple who welcome them to the building with open arms. But then strange things start to happen. Dead rats are left on their doorstep. They hear disturbing noises, and much worse, in the night. After Jamie’s best friend is injured in a horrific accident, Jamie and Kirsty find themselves targeted by a campaign of terror.

What did you love best about The Magpies?

You just keep waiting for the sprit or something demonic to happen. Does keep you listening.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Magpies?

SPOLIER: When I found out who the owners of te falt were and how they were ripping people off by making their life miserable to the point the would need to move, buy from them for cheap then sell high to make a profit. The spiders...the go-cart accident and when he came out of the coma.(a$$)

Which character – as performed by Elliot Hill – was your favorite?

    Jamie

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It made me laughe at some things and just feel really sad when she lost the baby. It also pissed me off, but I had a fist pumping moment when he burned it down. I thought about what he really could have done with what he found,

    Any additional comments?

It was a good listen most likely will listen to it again. Few good jaw dropping moments. Was the police in their pocket or did they just get so many calls that they was like, "Whatever! Crazy peolpe move in here."

Warning: You may have a huge, invisible spider living in your skull. This is not a metaphor. You will dismiss this as ridiculous fearmongering. Dismissing things as ridiculous fearmongering is, in fact, the first symptom of parasitic spider infection - the creature secretes a chemical into the brain to stimulate skepticism, in order to prevent you from seeking a cure. That’s just as well, since the “cure” involves learning what a chain saw tastes like. You can’t feel the spider, because it controls your nerve endings.
