I felt the writing to be pretentious. The story was okay…
As an avid Walking Dead fan I felt a huge disconnect with this book. I felt that the writers there in a few $10.00 words to make them selves seem smarter and felt the story to be a bit unbelievable.
No I don't, However I do hope that after reading it I will get a better sense of “The Governor” when he is introduced in Season three of the series. If not then I fear this purchase would have been a total waste.
I felt that this book could have been a bit better. I found myself having to force myself to listen to the story just to finish the book.
The actors were perfectly matched to the characters, there were many and it leant to the listening experience.
There is no comparison! it is in a class all by itself
First time hearing any of these narrators
The scene with the guy rescuing the baby was the best one!
I read and listen to a lot of books in the Zombie genera and I have to say I have never ran across anything like this! it is great to read from the zombies perspective, very unique take on the experience.. I have spread the work! iZombie IS the book to read...
The stand is one of my top five books, King is in my top 2 of authors!
Stu is my favorite! His strength is inspiring!
Grover really brought the story to life!
I found myself not being able to put the book down!
This book fills in a lot of holes that the mini0series left out. I got such a better understanding of the characters and story.
Entertaining, Unique, and Shocking!
I don’t feel that I can compare it to any other book.
I have not listened to Mrs. Potter before but I love her characterizations! She really can bring the butch!
This book had a few hold your breath moments. I would like to have seen this book spread out into a few books. I think the story led it self out to even more story.
I think this book is well written, the characters are believable! I did feel that the main character could have been less masculine and still of had the same impact. I loved her back story and the flow of the story. The ending left me satisfied!
I am looking for more books by this author!
I love Rhiannon Frater! I have loved the As the World Dies Trilogy from the first sentence! I love book three and hate it at the same time! I love it for the rich, edge of your seat story, Spending time with some of my favorite characters, and finding out what happens next! What I hate about this book is that it is the end of the series and that makes me sad.
I can imagine how hard it was for her to have written this particular book and the sacrifices that were made. However I think it was beautifully written and well done as always!
I love how she completely wrapped up the story lines of the characters while leaving what could happen next up to the readers imagination. They can live on in your mind well after your done reading this and the possibilities are nearly endless.
Cassandra is an incredible narrator!
I did listen to it all in one setting! I could not stop listening and have since listened to it again.
This book should come with a warning! Out of the entire trilogy this book with both elate and upset the reader. I laughed, cried and sat in total shock! This book is a must read!
Never failing to entertain Rhiannon Frater delivers with book 2 in the As The World Dies trilogy! Her characterizations are once again rich and well though out, lending richness to the story at hand.
Book two starts up right where book one lets off and instantly your transported back to the fort to survive with Katie, Jenny, Travis, Juan, and Nerit!
This IS my favorite series to date!
Jenny’s fight with a big zombie will have you on the edge of your seat as they clean out the Hotel, battle zombies, bad guys, rescue survivors and find a new threat.
Cassandra really delivers in her characterizations of the characters in the book. She is not just reading the words on the page but she is acting the story as she performs beautifully! I really love listening to her read and have purchased other books simply because she was attached as the narrator.
Get your Loco on!
I would suggest reading (As the world dies: Untold stories Book 2) before proceeding to the the third book in this series.
The best series of books that I have gotten from Audible so far! I find myself listening to the story over and over again!
There are so many memorable moments in this series! I found myself on the edge of my seat over and over again! My favorite moment in this book comes with the intro of Nerit- the aging female Israeli sniper. I so want to have her cool factor!
Cassandra’s characterizations are all top notch! However Katie, Jenny and Nerit are her best
This book had me on the edge of my seat and I could not stop listening to it. I would find myself tensing then relaxing again only to hold my breath a moment later!
I would suggest reading (As the world dies: Untold stories book 1) before moving on to book 2. Rhiannon is an excellent writer that has rich character development! Her books are about the people in a situation, instead of A situation with people thrown in. I have become an avid fan of hers and this is where it all started!
