I really loved this audio book and I think I enjoyed it better on audio than I would have the book itself. The Narrator made it come alive. The author rambles a lot, but that just makes it sound more real. When I got in the car to go to work every morning, it felt like I was going to have another conversation with a good friend. I hated to see this one end.
The main character was not likable. I really didn't care if he came out a winner or not. He was angry and a whiner. The narrator was good at portraying him however. But I was sorry I bothered with the book.
A great listening experience. Growing up in Sunday School, I knew the story of Rahab, but this novel took her to a new level. The narrator was perfect with all the voices. Couldn't wait to get back to the story when I had to get on with other things.
This was an incredible listen. The narrator was perfect on all the voices. Loved the story and all the subtle nuances. There is really no way to explain how special this book is!
The narrator was perfect and made the story believable.
Maggie. She pulled on every heart string....made me laugh and cry.
Not sure. Probably a scene with Cabbie.
Outstanding story read by an exceptional narrator
