Researcher and thought leader Dr. Brené Brown offers a powerful new vision that encourages us to dare greatly: to embrace vulnerability and imperfection, to live wholeheartedly, and to courageously engage in our lives. In Daring Greatly, Dr. Brown challenges everything we think we know about vulnerability. Based on 12 years of research, her book argues that vulnerability is not weakness but rather our clearest path to courage, engagement, and meaningful connection.

Fulfillment and Exuberance says: "Love Brene Brown, didn't like the narrator"
"Wonderful. Empowering. Made so much sense!"

What did you like best about this story?

Through this book I was able to understand so many little - and not so little- "dark" incidents in my life which caused me to feel uncomfortable or ashamed, and shed light on them. I was able to understand them a lot better, and grow. I can now take these experiences, analyze them in a new way and feel good about myself.

The book is very empowering- using simple language to explain our most inner selves and how it is implemented in varied areas of our lives- relationships, parenting, work.

I am definitely going back to this one! I have quite a few bookmarks.

What does Karen White bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Karen White's colorful voice drew me into the text. Even though this is a non-fiction, she was able to bring a lot of emotion and the author's enthusiasm from her research into the sentences. Well done.
