After his parents' death, Brody gave up a promising career to care for his family. Now, with his siblings grown, Brody owns his own business, and for the first time in years he's alone. Elise has come to Seattle with her daughter to find peace. After years as a world-famous ballerina - and trapped in a marriage gone bad - she's looking for neither love nor attention. But she finds both in the handsome, honest man who befriends her with no strings attached.

    Story

No, it's definitely not as spicy and hot as Laid Bare. However, for me...it's how I saw Brody. When he was introduced in Laid Bare, he was "always" there and taking care of everyone in their time of need. I saw him as kind and loving, and that's exactly how I feel he was portrayed in Coming Undone! So for that...I was not disappointed. The love scenes were hot...his wonderful pleasing Elise was yummy!!! I enjoyed that about the story! But Elise...as much as I liked her...as much as I got tired of her repeated "I'm a murderer...I'm not a good person, etc etc etc" UGH! Yes, she had a terrible marriage!! But seriously...after the story was told about what happened, how could she continually state those thoughts!! That being said, I was not unhappy with the book. I like the way Lauren Dane writes. I look forward to Adrian Browns story!
