It was a good read!!! Even though, at least to me, it was more on the darker side. Being taken prisoner in the Cambodian jungle after her entire team is murdered in front of her, Jocelyn's story unfolds as to why this has happened. There's a sub-plot with Jocelyn's dad. And we get to see how that's played out. A little bit of a mystery amongst the story. After being thrown in the cell, she meets CIA agent, Oliver Shaw, who's already been there for 2 years and has seen his entire team tortured and murdered. He's pretty broken. And who can blame him. He's endured some pretty heavy stuff. You get to see how they both deal with their capture and torture. See how Jocelyn helps Oliver overcome his utter broken spirit. And how they come to love each other, and eventually get free. . It's not one of those "light" reads, yet it's not ubber intense either. You get your happy ending. :)
