I had a hard time paying attention to this one. Some aspects seemed very unrealistic.
I've been married for 11 years and can relate to a lot of the material in the book. Worthy of the time and credit...
Waist of credit.. she keeps repeating she's a single mother and an author. Not as good as the first book.
Confusing.. in the first book, didn't mom move away and leave him alone.. and wasn't the boy called it the brother?
I'm a huge Oprah fan. And was excited to hear this book. But there seems to be a lot of people who are bitter about Oprahs success. And claiming she bleached her skin over and over is just silly. I am lighter than I was as a child because I'm not out in the sun constantly. I wish I didn't use my credit on this. Don't think I will finish listening.
I listened to this book in my spare time, mostly my commute to and from work and I couldnt wait to get back to it. There was a lot of sexual activity, but I didn't mind it. I love books of that nature. Great story! Im am purchasing part two today!
More detailed than the movie, which was great. But all that abcdefghijklmnop stuff with the ghetto accent was a little annoying
