Would you listen to Unleashed again? Why?

I loved the stories about the Berserkers and how they meet there true mates. and I'm drawn to anything Scottish!!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Roddrick was a Huge Alpha male with no voice, but really he didn't need to speak and Evelyn was so cute and perfect for him. I love how the author portrayed the Highlanders as they would have been back in the day. Some of them where womanizing pigs and rapist. Most books paint a pretty picture of the males of that day, I appreciate that tidbit of info included.

What does Derek Perkins bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

He brought me to the for front I felt as though with every word I was watching a movie. I could see it all vividly in my mind right down to the cobwebs in the attic.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It made me laugh a lot, The cocky males being put in there place by there mates. Evelyn was such a smarty and I loved that she had forsight as well.

    Any additional comments?

I am now reading the Bandshee's now and I'm loving that too. As I said above, Kerrigan Bryne is my new favorite Author.

Where does The King rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I gotta say the ranking on this BDB book is 7. Although Frangione has improved greatly when it comes to reading from another characters point of view but he still needs improvement. I read the book first than listened to it. I just wish he had some imagination. he makes the brothers sound like wussy's sometimes.

What did you like best about this story?

***** SPOILER ALERT******I loved finding out about Wrath's parents and their love story. It was nice to also see that Wrath's father was not the male Wrath thought he was, he only became that once he found out that someone killed his father and was trying to kill his Shellan the same way. He also didn't wanna be king but his Love made it easier for him to step into that role. I also loved the fact that we finally got to see the Shadows and understand the relationship between Trez and Iam.

Have you listened to any of Jim Frangione’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have listened to all the BDB books, and as I said above he really needs to work on his Portrayal. He has to stop making the brothers and females sounds like Wussy's. I could think of a couple other's I'd rather hear than him. there are several people that will not listen to the audio book because he ruins the brothers for them.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

    THE BROTHERS ARE COMING!

    Any additional comments?

Although I love the series I find that JR Ward likes to take idea's from Role players and add them to her books, even though she constantly states how much she does not like role players. funny though the last 4 books she has taken word for word verbatim from one particular group. My thing is these are your fans stop alienating them and let them do there thing I'm sure they love seeing there work show up in your books. and obliviously they are very inspiring. So just leave them be.

When he realizes that his type is nothing like what he thought, That s stiff order following female is never gonna make him happy in his royal bed..

Which character – as performed by Robert Petkoff – was your favorite?

Bowen, Lachlin, Cadeon. I love the Lycans sexy Scottish Werewolves!!! and that cockney accent he uses for Cadeon is sexy as hell. He could read the dictionary and it would be exciting.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes and I did, Read the book a few years ago, then bought the Audio book as soon as it was released and Listened to it one rainy Saturday.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would only recommend they listen if they didn't have time to read it. The Narrator reads like he is a robot, I just wanna strangle him and tell him to get a personality I could do a much better job. I would read it leaving the audience wanting more.

What did you like best about this story?

How focused Rhage was on spending what ever time with his true love he had. and that fact that he no longer cared about his curse because he loved her so much nothing else mattered.

How could the performance have been better?

A new narrator who will read the story and transcend you there with his story telling. this dude sounds like he is a robot reading these books.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Of course it was hysterical at times, The brothers are wise cracking asshats and Mary's Plight will make anyone cry it's so sad to finally find your true love only to learn you will lose them to death.

    Any additional comments?

Listen if you are a Vampire fan and have never read this series ( Where the hell are you living? under a rock?) You will LOVE these twisted Brothers.Read this series I promise you with become a Brother Junkie.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

This is the first story in a series of so far 10 soon to be 11( New Book "THE KING "). okay but I digress. The story takes place in a factional town in Upstate New York, and let me tell you JR Ward put a new spin on vampires. These Bad ass Alpha Male Vampires are nothing like what you grew up watching and or reading. We find Wrath, an angry vicious Vampire who is the last of the pure bread vampires, and a Bad ass fighter as are all of the brothers. But Wrath has a secret. Meet Elizabeth ( Beth) Randall the female who is meant for this foul mouth Neanderthal. But Wrath wants nothing to do with Beth's transition even though her father begs him to help her. After Darius is killed by the Lessening society Wrath Honors his request and OH BOY the fun begins. Enters Hard ass Caldwell "Cop" Brian "Butch" O'Neal. him and Wrath bump heads a lot and physically, can you guess who wins that fight?........ lol. There is a lot of twist and turns in this book you also meet the Brother Rhage... Oh god I Love him!!!!! and his book is the second in the series. This is a must read for all Vampire Lovers. This woman knows how to keep you interested in these Brothers.

Now go read this one then read Rhage, Zhadist, Butch, Vishous, Phury, Rehvenge, John Mathew, Tohrment, and Qhuinn. you will not be disappointed

What other book might you compare Dark Lover to and why?

Lara Adrian's Kiss of Midnight.there are many similarities between Wrath and Lucan. They are both leaders of there group of Vampires. they are both twisted and feel like they are not worthy of a mate until they both meet their perfect counter part.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Jim Frangione?

first choice would be Phil Gigante, Second choice would be Robert Petkoff

Who was the most memorable character of Dark Lover and why?

Wrath,of course. The brother is just so sexy and twisted, poor thing who doesn't want a badboy alpha male with and attitude that needs fixing.

    Any additional comments?

get a better Narrator this one sounds like he's dead.!!!

Would you listen to A Hunger Like No Other again? Why?

Okay so normally you read a book and you know it's perfect in your head. The hero sounds sexy and the Heroine is smart and independent. Well in my experience the Audibles narrator most SUCK. But this one, well let's just say it's spot on. He's got the accent down the inflection is perfect, his female is a little over the top but his male interpretation makes up for it. If you love paranormal romance with a chase and lots of naughty time you will LOVE THIS BOOK.

What was one of the most memorable moments of A Hunger Like No Other?

When the full moon rose and he was chasing Emma it was HOT.
