It was a little aggravating listening to how naive these two girls were. A little common sense would have saved them much hardship. Overall I did like the story and felt it was worth listening to.

I felt like I was dropped into the middle of the story, I had no ideal who was who and which side they were on. I have listened and read very complicated stories but never had such a hard time understanding a book. I was very frustrated and got tired of going back trying to figure out what was going on and gave up on the book.

George Guidall gives a wonderful performance and the story is quick paced and keeps you entertained. Anyone who likes time travel novels will dig this one. It has everything a novel needs to entertain; Politics, war, evil and romance with the right balance. Not heavy on the war details to the point of boredom and not too sappy in the love department. Very well balanced.

It's crazy but I find myself liking this sociopath! I even become half convinced that he has no other choice but to kill and that the victims deserve it. So far this is my favorite one out of the series but I still have two more to listen to. I can't put them away but find myself listening to them when I should be doing other things.

I have to say as a christian catholic I was very disturbed by the way the author represented Christians in her story, I know that there are extremist out there but they are not true Christians, a true christian does not physically or mentally hurt others, They have forgotten the most important thing that Jesus teaches. Love and understanding.. Having said that it was very eye opening to get a view of what same sex relationships must endure on a daily basis. I have much more empathy for there plait in this world. Anyone who has ever judged homosexuality should listen to this story. For me It has opened up my heart more for the suffering that they endure.

Keith Richards made me feel like I was there living the life with him. What a Life! The audio just kept rolling (Just like the stones). If you loved rock and roll you will be totally engaged with this story. Joe Hurley did a great job and I personally think Johnny Depp did a good job. He is no Scott Brick but he could be with practice. Work on them s's Johnny.

This audio moves from the start and does not slow down. It kept me captivated because there was always something happening. I could not stop listening to it because there was never a slow minute. The Stand was always my favorite Stephen King book but this one has now replaced it. You will not be disappointed.

I felt that the author introduced way to many characters at the beginning of the book. It took awhile to figure out who was who. He also used names like Henry, Harvey, Harry and Barry, this really made it hard to grasp each character, for me at least. It was not an easy listen and I found myself replaying parts. It does have a interesting plot which made it worth listening to but not a 5 star in my opinion.

The book had a very moving ending but I was not impressed with the love story between Travis and Gabby. It seemed a little cheesy as another reviewer pointed out. However I do think the book was well written and I personally loved the narrator's voice which made it a easy listen.

The story itself was pretty good. However the narrator did not do the story justice and because of this I had a hard time listening to it. I was not as impressed as the other reviewers who rated it a 5 star book. it was a good story but I do not think the writing deserves 5 stars.

I think Tom Wolfe is a great writer and I was totally enthralled with this audio. The story kept you going the whole time and never seemed to drag. I was also impressed with the narrator and the voices he was able to create. It was a easy listen, I highly recommend it.
