Internationally renowned psychiatrist, Viktor E. Frankl, endured years of unspeakable horror in Nazi death camps. During, and partly because of his suffering, Dr. Frankl developed a revolutionary approach to psychotherapy known as logotherapy. At the core of his theory is the belief that man's primary motivational force is his search for meaning.

I didn't take from this book what I thought I would. However, it was very interesting and a good story. I am so sorry that he and so many others had to endure this horrible situation. It was awful and very disturbing. Humanity never ceases to amaze me. You may take more from it from me. I think I was overwhelmed by the horrors that I couldn't grasp anything else.

Music has set the tone for most of Zoe Baxter’s life. And it’s music that brings her back to love. When fertility issues lead to a divorce, Zoe throws herself into her career as a music therapist. As an unexpected friendship with a woman slowly blossoms into love, she makes plans for a new life, but to her shock and inevitable rage, some people - even those she loves and trusts most - don’t want that to happen.

A must read for everyone. I have read many reviews of how Jodi is one sided and portrays religion as the main problem behind this prejudice. It is. Most religions are anyway. The one portrayed in this book is very real and this is how they really feel and behave. It is awful how narrow minded people can be. It is a fact, not overdone by Jodi. This is a very realistic love and the book was beautifully written.
