Lady Georgiana Rannoch has once again been called into service by Her Majesty the Queen. This time she's sent to Nice on a secret assignment that's nothing to sneeze at: recover the Queen's stolen snuff box. As much of an honor as it is to be trusted by Her Majesty, an even greater honor awaits Georgie in Nice - as Coco Chanel herself asks Georgie to model her latest fashion. But when a necklace belonging to the Queen is stolen on the catwalk, Georgie has to find two priceless items-and solve a murder. How's a girl to find any time to go to the casino?

As 35th in line for the throne, Lady Georgiana Rannoch may not be the most sophisticated young woman, but she knows her table manners. It's forks on the left, knives on the right - not in His Majesty's back….

Would you listen to Riptide again? Why?

Yes it was a great story and well read with realistic mystery.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Riptide?

The historical interest (fiction of course but fun) which was the center of the story.

What does Scott Brick bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Had a relaxed voice when I may not have felt that way reading the book - it helped for me to put the mysteries in the right place and added to my guess as to what was going to happen next.

    Any additional comments?

Recommend to anyone who likes a good mystery. I was concerned it may be too much about sailing or pirates - but it was not.

In Los Angeles in 1988, a 16-year-old girl disappeared from her home and was later found dead of a gunshot wound to the chest. The death appeared at first to be a suicide, but some of the evidence contradicted that scenario, and detectives came to believe this was in fact a murder. Despite a by-the-book investigation, no one was ever charged.

What made the experience of listening to The Closers: Harry Bosch Series, Book 11 the most enjoyable?

I have become very comfortable with Bosch after hearing several of his stories. The story is good but a typical detective story that reveals the culprit in the last part of the book.Bosch is a good character and the author develops the characters very well and he also uses familiar areas of Los Angeles which makes me feel like I am right there with him looking for those clues. I know little about police process but this seems to be documented enough to be believeable - for me at least.I also like that is is a clearly written book without long sex scenes or gory descriptions which are obviously not neccessary in Connelly's opinion too.It is a great listen and draws me to it when I have time to relax and listen.

Who was your favorite character and why?

    Bosch of course!

Would you listen to Royal Flush again? Why?

Yes entertaining and characters are great

What other book might you compare Royal Flush to and why?

Others in her series or similar to a Rockford Files TV show with women as the stars

What about Katherine Kellgren’s performance did you like?

She is very good with different voices it is easy to know who is speaking and she adds
    inflections of adventure, doom etc.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No - rarely have that much time and do enjoy taking a break and looking forward to coming back
to hear more of the book.

    Any additional comments?

I love - love that there is no obscenity and very light mentions of sex. It is not needed in a
    good book.
