"Good continuation from previous stories"
I felt that book #4 was a good story but that it did not necessarily "connect" to the 3 previous ones. It just felt disconnected with the characters OR maybe there just was not enough of the past characters in this story.
"Good 3rd series"
The story line was a bit predictable - -I thought of where it was going long before we got there. Some of the characters were a bit naggy but that does fit with the story so it is OK. Over all was good. I'd recommend the series.
"Easy listen"
Characters picked right up from the previous story, which was good. I listened to the 4 stories in a row and now am going back to give the review. I did not make a mental note of any negative so that is good. I would recommend the stories series to anyone.
"An easy and enjoyable listen"
Story line was good. Character development was good. Whoever was Abigal's voice was horrid. It was hard to listen to her lines but I did. I did not let this ruin the story. I looked forward to the later stories.
This actually got me interested in quilting.
"Very entertaining."
This book was mentioned at our book club recently but some had already read it. Not me so I thought I'd download it. I was not sure what to expect. LOVE the british accents. I found the story to be very pleasurable and would highly recommend it. I appreciate the mixture of cultures and it was a good reminder that no family is perfect. Well done.
"Good "trip" story"
I listened to this one with my 17 year old daughter on a road trip. We both enjoyed it. Would recommend.
"Delicate Life Choices"
This story was very enjoyable. Luanne Rice has written some amazing stories and she just keeps on doing it over and over.
"Excellent!"
This story was great. I really appreciated the perspective from the inside. I respect all trainers, handlers, and of course, the rescue animals. I love the bond that forms. Very happy to have listened to this story.
"Thought it would be a typical story"
The story line has been done and done again, but having grown up in a broken home, I appreciated the story line and it was a nice grown up reminder that we really don't know all that we think to know about things that happened in our family / families life when we were kids.
"Great story - funny at times"
OK - after reading some other's review I was not sure what my take would be but I did really enjoy this story. I found the humor quite funny. I enjoyed the detective aspect - - classic "who dun it" etc. I liked the characters and found myself thinking about a part 2. Well done!
