Here we go again...an author who not only can't get rid of unnecessary "that"s, doesn't know the difference between "bring" and "take", but uses the horrendous "these ones". Note to author: if you or your editor don't know better, A. fire the editor or, B. find a new profession. I quit reading at the first "these ones" and will never read/listen to another book by this author for that reason alone. (He's not the first to fall in this category.)
It amazes me that two men, one with a 30-inch inseam and the other with a 36-inch inseam, can both wear a third man's trousers and have them fit...
P.S. Did this story end abruptly or what?
...complete with silly characters. Nice little twist at the end. Could use more Darcy, however.
It's called, "Find the inconsistencies in WEB Griffin books." I'll start. (Ships, planes and guns are beyond my ken, so I can't speak to them.) LT Weston is given an address in Philadelphia complete with zip code. The USPS introduced the zip code in 1963. Hmmmm.
I like this series. The best line, used over and over, is, "The guy who looks like Howard Hughes." Chortle...
The storyline is typical of the author...not very deep...you need not think too much about what's going on. Unfortunately, Paul Costanzo is a rather bad narrator and Renee Raudman isn't much better. (We get spoiled by the really good narrators.)
...but a pleasant enough way to help getting through the house-cleaning and laundry chores I love so much.
Another waste of time and money. A book full of losers and idiots. Even the relatively good narration couldn't save this one.
...but I figured it out way too soon. Tami Hoag writes good books. David Colacci did a good job narrating. Makes for pleasant listening.
Had to find the Bram Stoker work after listening to this book. Love it when a book makes me want to explore further. Scott Brick used his whiny voice too often. Too bad.
A compilation of stories about a bunch of losers...one worse than the other. Can't be bothered with them.
