As the bloody Human-Covenant War rages on Halo, the fate of humankind may rest with one warrior, the lone SPARTAN survivor of another legendary battle...the desperate, take-no-prisoners struggle that led humanity to Halo: the fall of the planet Reach. Now, brought to life for the first time, here is the full story of that glorious, doomed conflict.

Joseph says: "Great book and easy listen."
"Great for the Halo fan, but..."
    Overall

the narrator mispronounces a lot of words and terms. Aside from that, it's a fun listen that really fleshes out the character of the Master Chief.

  • Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them: A Fair and Balanced Look at the Right

    • UNABRIDGED (9 hrs and 51 mins)

    • Narrated By Al Franken

Finding logical inconsistencies, factual errors, and doublespeak wherever he looks, Al Franken takes on and destroys the myth of liberal bias in the media, hoists the Bush White House on its own rhetorical petard, and punctures the mean-spirited sanctimony of such media darlings as Ann Coulter and Bill O'Reilly. Timely, provocative, unfailingly honest, and always uproarious, Lies is sure to raise hackles and spark hilarity inside the Beltway and from sea to shining sea.

Peter says: "Franken's One Sided View"
"Don't waste your time. 0 stars."
    Overall

Since when does a bitter liberal's rantings qualify as nonfiction? This is America and Mr. Franken is entitled to his opinion, but to pass this drivel off as factual is just plain wrong. Anybody who disagrees with Franken's leftist viewpoint is a bad guy, presumably because he says so! Sorry, but that's not good enough for me. I can think for myself.
