Winner take all...Shared nightmares, visions of blood and fire, and random violence begin to plague the longtime friends and Quinn, Layla, and Cybil, the women bound to them by fate. Where does The Pagan Stone rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It was not the best or the worst. I liked this narrator better than either of the others. I wish they wouldn't change narrators if it was possible in a series. Its unpleasant.

What did you like best about this story?

The voice of the demon :) First audio books where they do "effects" with a voice to make it scary and it works!

What about Dan John Miller’s performance did you like?

His portrayal of the guys...he does a perfect lazy drawl with a bit of cocky which is perfect Gage...and he doesn't give layla that horrible lispy New York accent that book 1 had.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes but only because this narrator was better than the others. And I already read the books so this was my favorite of the 3....

    Any additional comments?

Decent but I wouldn't waste a credit if I wouldn't have already started the series....much better books out there.

It's been seven years since Lexi Knight lost her brother in a tragic accident. On the anniversary of his death, her brother's best friend shows up unexpectedly - a man she hasn't seen since the funeral. He is no longer the boy Lexi once knew, but a dangerous-looking man with tattoos and dark secrets. He broke her trust and abandoned her family, yet what he reveals makes it impossible to stay angry. Lexi has been secretly infatuated with Austin since childhood, so finding out he's a Shifter just makes him sexier.

good story but narrator sounds like an old lady who smokes too much. I'm dreading the story about April with her whine.

    Story

I call this book the 'start' of the series, as this is the first book of any real substance AND read by Robert Petkoff. He is the perfect narrator for these stories. His accents and voices are distinctly different for each character and match their individual personalities and accents to a T.

If this is the first book you've listened to in the series, the sexual scenes take a bit getting used to ( to not blush and look around making sure no one else can hear lol!) but they do not overpower the excellent storyline. I have found that to be rare in Paranormal Romance books.

If you loved this book, you will eventually listen to them all and it is quite addicting. I was sorely disappointed at the end of the series, because I had no more to listen to. So...I started over!

I don't write a ton of reviews, but after 13+ books in this series I had to admit...I'm addicted!
The stories are enthralling, and surprisingly each one is very different even though the general plot stays the same. the author has done an amazing job with the varied story lines and characters. just today I found myself yelling NO out loud at a moment in the story, as I carried my phone around with me all morning dying to finish this story!

the narrator is superb. period. he does such an outstanding job with the multitude of voices needed, accents, languages, etc. no two main characters ever sound alike, which makes the story even harder to stop listening to!

    sex scenes...sizzling.
