I am a huge fan of this series. I like the characters, the time and place. I like how Jacqueline Winspear uses history in subtle ways and how Maisie Dobbs is an independent free thinking woman in a time when that was not the norm.
I bought the first book for my mother and have started her on the series.
How the characters are developed from one book to the next. The personal nature of this story and some of the back story of Maisie.
I found this entertaining, funny and quirky. This is not for mixed company. He addresses adult topics. I laughed out loud. Thoroughly enjoued.
I liked this book. It was light and entertaining. I liked the pace of the narrator, the characters and the humor.
I enjoyed the narrator and how easy the writing is of the Maise Dobbs novels.
I love Maisie's independent spirit and how the story lines take you back in time to fill in her history and show how she has become an independent, fiesty spirit.
Although I did not listen to this in one sitting, I looked forward to my listening time because of how well the story was written and told.
I may not listen to again because I don't generally do that. However I would recommend for others to listent. Really enjoyed.
Jane...funny, lost, independent, brave.
It had its moments when I chuckled outloud.
