"This one is an amazing appetizer to the last book!"
Even though we know this trilogy is a "born-bestseller-kinda-writing" I love the twist on the last books, turning the story more into the political problem, globalization, legal slavery and slashing hope... It is great entertaining, visually rich.
"It's a great novel...movie cannot capture it sadly"
yes
Only the book of course, specially if they like sci fi
steady and well done
No, it's definitely well closed
"Another GREAT Scalzi novel"
the life lessons behind it
When you get a brand new body the first thing you do is... plain honest writing
He did a great job with all different voices
yes but not to the point of tears
"Beautiful teachings"
the performance was esquisite and sensible
some of the teachings are more easy to translate than others
inspirational, deep thoughts...
"Sadly disappointing"
A really big fan of the series, I'd read the first one 3 years agos and saw the movie adaptation recently and wanted to check it out... It was too slow, the kid is STUPID not to notice some things, so much adolescent from the previous version... at least I don't remember him being so DUMB.
Don't make the kid so dumb and predictable...
Passionate, naif, clear.
All the way from the middle to the end it was sloppy...
"Amazing storytelling!!!"
I haven't read the print but I can say the audible version is AMAZING
It kinda reminded me when you read transcripts of old letters, the intimacy and how she uses the diary format; but I haven't read something with this good storytelling in a while now!
Everything, such a great job!
You think you know a person, but you don't.
"I could not stop listening! So rich and full story"
the amount of background work because in order to tell THIS story you need to think 40 other more stories, one for each day
how deep can you go on the subject of letting go... material, gender, love...
great performance specially on those heavy emotional moments
the love scenes made me miss so much being in love; those scenes are the bes written
I didn't quite like how it ended... almost like a bad movie that leaves an open door to a sequence; but I enjoyed it very much to condem it for that!
"great characters as always with the Scalzi touch!"
the characters and how he builds them up!
how he plays with what is called "the fourth wall" on theatre
Yes, big fan of Will and how he preforms!
it did make me laugh quite a few times, some dialogues are bizarre!
"Honest and deep autobiography"
Sincere, true and funny
When she meets her wife, beatifully described moment
Loved her relationship with all Glee members
When she talks about quit drinking alcohol of course
A nice and honest book, easy to read and keeps you entertained all the way.
"good twist to adventure-alien stories!"
Yes! You will have a good adventurous time listening to this story
the spy! no need to spoil anything else
the one at the mall, well narrated full action scene!
not one, but just a few, couldn't let go!
"GREAT NOVEL! Easy listening and great characters"
Yes! I loved the dialogues, I think it is Scalzi's huge talent.
Joshua, by far far far distance from the others!
EVERYTHING, amazing performance, so much acting on his voice!
Not really, it is an easy listening, I was amusingly anxious to keep listening every day.
Another great Scalzi's novel! I am becoming a fan! Loved the dialogues and surprise elements.
