SAD, SAD, SAD. THE STORY WAS SO TRUTHFUL FROM THE HISTORY I HAVE READ ABOUT THIS PERIOD, THAT I WOULD LISTEN TO A DIFFERENT BOOK BETWEEN PARTS, TO AVOID BEING DEPRESSED. VERY AUTHENIC AND HISTORICAL. GLAD THAT I LISTENED TO IT. VERY IMPRESSIVE READING. I NEVER FINISHED AND WASN'T IMPRESSED WHEN I READ IT. I LOVED THIS READING.
THE WHOLE BOOK. WOULDN'T HAVE FINISHED IF NOT READ SO WELL.
NO, I DIDN'T LIKE THE POOR MIXTURE OF ROMANCE AND MYSTERY. CATHERINE COULTER IS A MUCH BETTER WRITER WITH THIS TYPE OF MIX.
NOT FROM THE GENRE JUST THIS WRITER.
IF I WAS READING THIS BOOK I WOULD NOT HAVE FINISHED IT. BUT THE READING WAS GOOD ENOUGH TO LISTEN ALL THE WAY THRU.
I WOULDN'T HAVE PRINTED IT IN THE FIRST PLACE.
EQUALE TO HER EARLIER BOOKS. LOST TRACK OF WHAT WE READ HER BOOKS FOR ON THE LAST 3. BUT NOW BACK ON TRACK. KEEP UP TH GOOD WORK.
NO I JUST LIKE WHEN SCARPETTA STARTS PUTTING TOGETHER THE PUZZLE AND FINDING THE ANSWERS. GREAT WRITING.
YES, AS THE STORY IS JUST BETTER THAN AVERAGE, BUT THE READER BRINGS THE STORY ALIVE IN A WAY THAT MAKES YOU PART OF IT. THIS MAKES THE STORY WAY BETTER THAN AVERAGE.
YES AND THEY ALWAYS DO AN EXCELLENT JOB, IN BRINGING THE STORY TO LIFE.
YES I WILL. FOUND IT TO BE THOUGHT PROVOKING.
THE ATTACK OF THE TIGER.
ALL MAJOR CHARACTORS WERE FILLED OUT AND SEEMED TO BE INPORTANT TO THE STORY.
VERY GOOD LISTENING. READ VERY WELL
I listen to a great many audiobooks. This one is a great listen for young adults and teenagers. The story is in the same vein as Earth Abides, told in a different viewpoint that is quite interesting. The twists are thought provoking. LOVED IT..
The main charector Stephen with the way he was raised and when he was raised, created a way of thinking that made me question some of my own thoughts.
This s th frst time that I have listened to 1 of his readings that i am aware of. He did a real good job.
I am not sure, as I found the story not up to the standards that James Patterson adds to a story. The story seemed to lack the excitment at times and lost a continuity that i like in a good story.
I would be willing to try another book just to see if they learned from the first. Not everyone has a hit straight out the first time. Even Stephen King has had some flops.
Very well read, just couldn't quite make up for the weak parts of the story/
I wouldn't make a movie of this story.
I loved the whole story, and this is book 5. It needs an book 6.
I loved the way it jumped back and forth to all of the different characters. There was not a single man character. It then seemed like more than a single story, told by one person.
I have read the physical books, but the reading and the way hess does it, adds a depth that i didn't experience before.
I would have loved to but I don't think I could stay awake thru 40 hours of story. I sometimes set it aside to digest what i just heard.
HE NEEDS TO WRITE A SIXTH BOOK TO WRAP UP SOME LOOSE ENDS!!
Excellent combination of fiction and history. Done in the tradition of Louis L'Amour. A must read for fans of the old west.
THIS IS RESEARCHED VERY WELL. DISPELLS SOME MYTHS BOTH GOOD AND BAD. SHOWS THE INCOMPETENT PART OF PRESIDENT CLINTON. I WAS FINALLY GIVEN THE FACTS THAT I COULDN'T FIND THAT SUPPORTED MY FEELINGS.
