This story really did start off with a great plot. Then it just took a left turn, and then a right turn, then it just ran into a wall at 100 mph. Hey a moon is a ship! We crashed on it ! Now we have been living on it for like 30000 years and didnt know it! Aliens! Prison! Black cubes! Dog aliens that piss all over stuff! Lame!!!

This was just a horrible book. Skip it and save the credit that ill never get back.

If you are reading this review, its only because you have been sucked into the Star Force series and plan on getting this next book no matter what i say. I read other readers thoughts, some weren't favorable,i didn't care, and i bought the book.

I loved it. I only wish they were longer. Rigs really needs to go blow the crap out of "you know who" back on earth and soon.

Im not going to say anything about the story. Again, this is what, book 7 in the series? If you are even looking at this book,it means you have read the previous 6. Buy it and like it.

BV Larson, get to writing. I want the next book asap.

More and more, when i read zombie based books,i feel i cannot read any of them based on the majority of reviews. It seems to me that most people that are a fan of the zombie genre love any and every book about zombies. No matter how good or bad they actually are.

Now what did i think of the book World War Z? Its original, ill give the author that much. But there was never one part of the entire book that got me really interested in what was going on. Its a collection of "interviews" with people after the Zombie war. Ok,interesting idea,it just didnt do much for me.

I recall seeing an article with the author in which he states "the only thing similar to my book and the movie is the title." I for one,am happy to know this. Otherwise id skip the movie entirely.

To the casual zombie book fan,i say skip this one,you wont miss anything.

Dark fantasy goes hardboiled in Book II of the hard-hitting Grimnoir Chronicles by the New York Times best-selling creator of Monster Hunter International. The Grimnoir Society’s mission is to protect people with magic, and they’ve done so—successfully and in secret—since the mysterious arrival of the Power in the 1850s, but when a magical assassin makes an attempt on the life of President Franklin Roosevelt, the crime is pinned on the Grimnoir.

He also possesses raw magical talent and the ability to make objects in his vicinity light as a feather or as heavy as depleted uranium, all with a magical thought. It's no wonder the G-men turn to Jake when they need someoneto go after a suspected killer who has been knocking off banks in a magic-enhanced crime spree.

Quite a few reviewers have said that the Grimnoir series is way better than the MHI books. I personally disagree. BUT,the Grimnoir books are fantastic, original and they keep you listening. I loved that in between chapters we get some new history blurbs as they could have happened with the addition of magical powers.

Sweet story, read the publishers description, and then be surprised that the book is way better than the publisher describes.

This second MHI book is awesome. It had me laughing out loud, and i don't laugh at just anything. This book continues with some bad ass monsters and demons trying to wipe out some of MHI's best. But it also will finally tell us where internet spam comes from, the secret lives of garden gnomes, and online trolls.

    Awesome story,funny listen,get it.

This book is not going to have the characters you have grown to love in the first MHI book. Its all about Earl Harbinger. I have to admit, for me,it started a little slow. But then once it got going it was great. Some new characters will be moving on to the next book and you will be happy that they do.

Honestly, the title of this series made me think it was going to be a book for 5th grade boys. After a good friend of mine telling me that his father read the first book and loved it, and that my friend then read it and loved it,i had to give it a try.

The MHI books are high up on my list of favorite listens. The narrator is aweomse, the story NEVER has a dull spot and its also funny while entertaining. I love these books. Give them a try.
