Atlanta would be a nice place to live, if it weren't for the magic. When the magic is up, rogue mages cast their spells and monsters appear, while guns refuse to fire and cars fail to start. But then technology returns, and the magic recedes as unpredictably as it arose, leaving all kinds of paranormal problems in its wake.

The first book in this series was a little hard for me to get through....but it is SO worth it as each book in the series gets better and better.

He has stolen her past, but MacKayla will never allow her sister's murderer to take her future. Yet even the uniquely gifted sidhe-seer is no match for the Lord Master, who has unleashed an insatiable sexual craving that consumes Mac's every thought - and thrusts her into the seductive realm of two very dangerous men, both of whom she desires but dares not trust.

    "Great Book"
    Overall

I have really love this series. This book did not dissapoint at all. The story is great and keeps you enthralled most of the time. The new narrator actaully didn't take too long to get used to, sometimes a switch can ruin a listening experience but not this time. I was really thrilled to have Phil Gigante narrate for the male voices. I loved his work on the Highlander series by Ms Moning.
Now I am waiting on edge for the next one!

While the world carries on unawares, Stryker, who leads an army of demons and vampires, is plotting an all out onslaught against his enemies - which, unfortunately for us, includes the entire human race. To avenge his sister, Stryker prepares to annihilate the Dark-Hunters. But things go awry when his oldest enemy returns. Enter his ex-wife. Zephyra.

I am not a picky audio book listener. I can handle just about any reader, yet I couldn't even finish listening to this one. The reader does not do Sherrilyn Kenyon's books justice. I will buy the book and read it.
