It was very drawn out and quite boring. I really don't like how they threw in a relationship for Zander at the end. I had a very hard time getting through this book. It was nothing like the first one. I still would like to know who the "enemy" is.
Kept the story similar to the first book. This one had many sections that were way too convient and hard to believe. There were also questions that went unanswered. Overall, I am very disappointed.
The girl did great but Kye(not sure of the spelling) was pretty awful. By the end his voice was very irritating.
Zander's new girl. I believe her name is Layla. It felt like she was just added in at the end so everyone could have a happy ending.
This book manages to be drawn out and rushed at the same time. I can't even explain how that is possible.
There wasn't even a story. It was definitely a waste of money. It's such a shame because I loved the first book and thought the others were at least okay.
This is my second time listening to this book. The first time I was frustrated with it and kept on waiting for something to happen. This time I listened with more of an open mind and enjoyed it more. There are certain things is like to change, but I've decided to give the 2nd book a try.
This book was written with the sole purpose of making it so you have to buy the third book. I hate when novels are cut off right in the middle of the story. I don't mind cliff hangers of some sort, but this ended so abruptly with more loose ends then I can count. It was extremely frustrating. The back and forth between the two main characters became very predictable and quite annoying. Two full books of the back and forth and I am completely over it. It's such a shame because this series has some real potential. Even the first half of this book was okay. By the time I got to the end I was fast forwarding just to get through it. It became painful to listen to. Maybe if I had waited until the 3rd book came out and listened to them together it wouldn't be so bad, but after the same repeating pattern of the characters and the terrible ending, I'm not wasting anymore time or money.
There were times the story was a little dull, but overall I enjoyed it. Everything came together for a nice conclusion.
Another great book, but I wish this wasn't the end of the series. Hopefully there will be another spin off series.
It took me a little longer to get through it, but I loved it. I'm so glad this isn't another trilogy considering all the trilogies in this genre. I just hope it isn't long before the next one.
I did like this book however, I felt like the character went from a stone cold fighter to an over emotional teenage girl. By the end of the book there was someone crying in every chapter and it was usually the main character. It felt like the author was trying way to hard to make this book sappy by the end. I'm hoping there will be a little less of that in the next book.
After listening to Cinder I thought this would be a good book, but no way. I had a hard time getting through it. There just wasn't enough to the story. I didnt feel connected to any of the characters. It's definitely not worth the money or credit.
This book just didn't keep my interest and was all over the place. Just when I started getting into it, things switched to a completely different story. It was my least favorite of the series.
This book had some potential but the ending was pretty lame. It seemed suddenly rushed. I hoped for more.
