This is a fab series and several authors come together in a seamless way. As usual Rebecca Cook does a fantastic job. She never disappoints with her narration.

Poppy and Win what a pair. The epitomy of a proper cultured Victorian couple with secret lives - and when it blows up, fireworks or should I say snowstorms. Poppy won't let anything stop her - even pregnancy. Win nearly pulls his hair out because of it. The trick to thwart the demon was inspired. It was great to see the sister's and their respective husbands come together, burying old hurts and form a support system. Book 4 is Talent's story, I hope there are more - possibly for the sister's lost brother. Moira Quirk was fantastic as usual she really brings the era to life.

A great book - what an amazing story between the lively Daisy and the tormented Ian. It nearly had me in tears when Ian thought Daisy was dead. Poor thing. The introduction of the gimps was another new species with interesting possibilities. I love Kristen Calihan's storylines with all its twists and turns. I'm getting into the historical stuff. Moira quirk didn't dissapoint and actually did an awsome Scottish accent - not the usual horrible attempts from some narrators, that are like nails on a chalkboard to my Scottish ancestry. I can't wait for book 3. I will definitely relisten to this series.

    Story

Wonderful story. It took a while to get into but once there I was addicted. The author did her homework with Victorian England. The story was different from the norm and displayed very proper etiquette and manners of the day. This means control and quiet to the point of being staid. Perfect Victorian behaviour where loudness and excitability were definitely frowned upon by the upper classes. The street slang was perfect and the fight with soul demon was wicked. I loved Miranda's strength and fearlessness and Archer's fight with himself. Moira Quirk was the PERFECT narrator, with culture and fitness. I got the next two even before finishing this one. I had to find out what happened to the sisters.

    Story

I just loved this story, its not for the sensitive. The sex scenes and dirty talk might put some off. But it didn't worry me. Both characters are strong minded, strong willed and fierce, so floaty frilly bedroom scenes wouldn't have worked. Tarryn had me in tears with her snarky comments. The bit with the elephant, then calling the stupid she wolf an STD but best of all was telling Greta to pull her lip over her head and swallow. It was too good.

Both characters have dealt with their respective traumas and its moulded them into shifters not to be underestimated. The pack members are a cohesive unit but filled with delightful characters.

The narration was seriously good too, Suzanne Wright has another book in this series, plus some vamp offerings. I hope these get recorded. I can't wait.

If you loved Bewitched, Charmed and Murder She Wrote you will love this. This modern young witch tries so much to be caring and normal but life just seems to want to rail road her into chaos between murders and romance. Plus Oscar is soooo cute. For those into spellwork the authenticity is awesome. I usually go for 'Twilight for big girls' but this series had me so hooked I had to get the rest. Plus it was narrated by Xe Sands who I love (another plus), who knew she could be so light hearted. I can't wait for book 5, I will definitely pre-order when it arrives. Definitely worth a credit.

I wasn't too sure at first and only got it out of curiosity, but boy am I glad I did. This is so different from her dragon series, although she does sneek in the odd similarity it doesn't detract from the overall style. It's really classical, detailed and historical. I was hooked and the narrator was awesome - what a good choice. I hope she gets to do further offerings. I do like the use of (good) accents and was disappointed by their lack, but she captivated and held you without the need. For me that is a sign of a job well done. I loved Coreen Callahan's other series, but this shows her versatility and the ability to use completely different writing styles. I will definitely get more.

I love this series and cannot wait for the rest. But the spoiler was the horrible attempt at an Irish accent, it sounded like a cross between weird Irish and Australian. The big Alpha shifters sounded high pitched and squeeky as if they were talking through a wedgie! Do the producers/directors Never listen to the end result?? Surely its better to leave out the accent all together? After listening to Ian Ruane narrate The Druid Stone using a beautiful Irish brogue this was pure torture. Its a shame how the narrators can ruin a perfectly great set of stories. I will get the rest of the series should audible do them as they are great. The narration was OK when the Morrisey's were not talking. I hope she drops the accents next time.

Yet another great story from J D. They just keep getting better and better. There are quite a few threads unravelling that I have no doubt will provide more great books. I would have given Ben's amazing narration 5 stars if he'd given Wick back the cool accent he gave him in the first book. It seemed to suit his cranky character better.
