The backdrop of the story is relatively current and the audio recording is terrific. Unfortunately, the plot is predictable and lack the surprise twists that readers expect from Dan Brown.
A 6 Sigma book with a plot, an underdog main character, a few villains, romance, and a happy ending. While you may not learn every 6 Sigma or Lean or TOC methodology from this book, you will have found new respect for them.
Despite all the foreshadowing, the story surprised me every turn. The author also has no problem killing off main characters and leave some loose end hanging. It is by far one of the best frictional series of our time with a book 1 ending that is satisfying enough. There are a lot of characters but the reader's difference voices made it easy to follow. I would suggest watching the first two episodes of the HBO series (season 1) before starting the audiobook. From the TV series, you can get a more vivid imagine of the characters and you can make sure you like the story before commiting 30+ hours of listening. But finish the audiobook before finish watching the HBO series. The book is far better with lots of details.
Using scientific research and facts, author explains the truth about baby brain development and our ability to influence it. While neither this book or anything will guarantee perfect parenting, it will provide some rules and guideline to give you the best statistical chance to raise a happy, healthy, and moral baby.
Terrific book on change management with strategies that anyone can apply at work and at home.
