"First of the Harry Hole Series, Finally"
Developing interesting character
The plot did not keep me on the edge of my seat but did provide a good basis for Jo Nesbo's Harry Hole series each book of which gets better and better.
The storyline describing Aborigine culture is very interesting.
When Harry bonds with his Australian partner almost at once, I was intrigued by the way Nesbo did this so that I would believe it could happen so fast.
Look forward to more in this series.
"A great start but that's as far as it went."
Would not recommend this book as I spent too long getting nowhere with it.
The most disappointing thing was no resolution. Good start, no fizz at end.
I do not think I have listened to either. The reader for the wife's impression on me has been tainted by the character in the book, not by the skills of the reader.
Yes, probably will not recommend this book or this author.
